A Nice Sentiment...

I am a Tea lover through and through. I think this is highly appropriate.

January Bath Essentials

Welcome to my new blog, I am Frank will encompass all things Lifestyle and Beauty! Today's post is about my January bath essentials, with post-Christmas blues out of the way and long days at work, I'm looking for moisturising products which are quick and fuss free before I go to bed. These are my current picks...

First things first, I love a scrubby exfoliatior. I detest products which aren't at all grainy, but claim to be exfoliating. Soap & Glory, I have found, do the best scrubs. From Flake Away, to the Breakfast Scrub, to this little beauty, Sugar Crush. Now the scent is something else, it is utterly divine. It isn't for everyone, with brown sugar, sweet lime and almond oil being its key ingredients, it is on the sweet side. Personally I hate its shower gel counterpart, I think it smells really synthetic and a little like gone off yoghurt. Just me? I digress. This is my second tub of the stuff and I think I'll be repurchasing for years.

Shower gel is just shower gel to me. I wouldn't personally spend more than £3 on a nice one, and that's the top end of my budget. This Warm Cinnamon scent is from the brand Treacle Moon and I brought this from Tesco's. This smells exactly like Haribo's and I absolutely love it! I'm not sure if this is just a winter scent, but I'll be sad when this little baby runs out.

Origins is by far one of my favourite skin care brands, I could rave on and on about their products. My skin is very blemish prone and is being treated for acne at the moment. Both Checks and Balances and Out of Trouble have really soothed my skin for the past few months, and worth every penny in my opinion.

Now to add moisture! The Body Shop's Shea Body Butter is my favourite winter moisturiser, this is my second tub of the stuff. I usually put it on after I've had a bath, put my PJ's on, and get in bed. It makes my skin feel so smooth and it smells wonderful. If in not in the mood for a heavy duty moisturiser, I pop on Soap & Glory's Smoothie Star, which smells just like popcorn. I'm sensing a foodie theme here. Now this is a very light moisturiser, but still does a good job.
